Partnerships strengthened and new opportunities gained at busy GIS 2024
The Trade Show at the GCSAA Conference is considered the premier learning and networking marketplace for the golf course management industry. No other single event attracted more key decision-makers from every aspect of the golf course industry and Soil Scout was once again pleased to attend the 2024 show.
Soil Scout were exhibiting in support of SubAir Systems who have been an integral Soil Scout partner in North America and worldwide for many years and were represented on the booth by US lead sales representative Christian Walter and his new sales colleague Ville Väkiparta. Making the journey from Finland to join Christian and Ville was Soil Scout CEO Jalmari Talola.
One of the highlights of the trade show was the launch by Toro of their new integration Alliance. Set to revolutionise golf course management, Toro’s IntelliDash platform is a new streamlined dashboard – a single home for all golf course data management information and now including real-time soil moisture data from Soil Scout’s soil monitoring sensors.
The Toro team were performing live demonstrations of the IntelliDash platform for trade show visitors and the demonstration proved a big hit with superintendents keen to learn more about how all their course intelligence can be presented in one place.
The new platform not only features data from soil sensors and but many other industry partners offering data from weather, irrigation, equipment, labour through to chemicals.
The SubAir Systems and Soil Scout partnership is a successful collaboration that continues to go from strength to strength and Jalmari expressed his gratitude to SubAir for their hospitality; “I would like to take this opportunity to thank SubAir’s CEO Brad Dennis and his team for once again hosting us on their booth at GIS. “We have a very strong and prosperous working relationship with Brad and his team and events like GIS continue to strengthen and grow the ties between our two companies.”

We look forward to following up on these conversations and meet up with everyone again soon!”
