New appointments at Soil Scout HQ
Soil Scout are pleased to announce two new appointments to the growing team. Based in Finland, Ville Oksanen takes the post of Business Controller working from the company HQ in Helsinki, while Jussi Uusitalo joins the production team based at Lieto.
Ville is a Bachelor of Business administration with an impressive background, having previously worked for Greenstep where he helped start-ups and medium sized tech companies with services that they would need for general financial and business administration. For Soil Scout, Ville’s responsibilities will include financial reporting, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting and in general helping the company to grow in a controlled way. Ville commented; “I’m very happy to be working at Soil Scout and I hope to be able to help the company achieve its goals of increased growth and all of the administration tasks that come with it.”
Away from work, Ville currently spends most of his time with his young family. He also enjoys most sports, TV, movies, music, games and anything competitive.
Jussi Uusitalo is currently studying industrial management and engineering with only the final thesis left for the fall 2022. As a part of his studies, he has participated in production related projects where he has been seeking solutions for production optimisation and quality improvements.
Jussi’s main responsibilities at Soil Scout will be operations related to production and the production itself. These would include hands-on activities including moulding and backing as well as more of a supervising tasks like quality assurance and production improvements.
Jussi said; “I’ve been thrilled to start working for Soil Scout. The products are exceptional and Soil Scout’s potential for future growth and development is prominent. The work environment is international, and I am really looking forward to meeting all of the team.”
Jussi has all kinds of interests relating to sports and exercising, he leads a very active lifestyle and enjoys good coffee!
