New advanced Analysis Tool added to Soil Scout Hub

Soil Scout are committed to improving the service that we provide our clients with continual investment in research and development for the solution’s hardware and software features. Customer feedback often plays an important role in determining the direction of feature improvements and our most recent development has been no exception.

While the Soil Scout Hub has been optimised for visualising soil conditions and revealing in-field variability, we have grown increasingly aware of the fact that many of our customers have been performing more detailed comparisons by exporting the data to spreadsheet software. We have been happy to assist in doing so, and will continue supporting our customer’s data transfer needs, but have also worked intensively towards introducing a more detailed Analysis Tool into our online Hub.

On Monday 28th June the new Analysis Tool will be officially launched and available to all of our Hub users. The update will be automatic, you don’t have to do anything to access the new feature, just login to your Soil Scout Hub like normal.

In addition to many details, there are two key differences compared to the traditional device/group graphs: 1) The same graph can contain any parameters, be that moisture, temperature or water balance, even from the same device and different starting times, and 2) The Analysis you create and fine tune is real-time, but is also saved for later use or to share with your colleagues.

We have also added a simple ‘hint dialogue’ assisting you in the straightforward process of creating an Analysis, and you can turn off the hints from the three-dot graph menu at any time.

One of the most typical advances our customers have anticipated is the ability to plot the graphs of different seasons from a certain group in one view. The preview screenshot below, is an example of just that – viewing what this season looks like at this point, compared to the two preceding seasons. As new data accumulates, you can turn the same analysis up again and see how things have progressed since your last visit.

Zooming in a specific time span gives you the most basic statistical values of the chosen time interval.

What other indicator values would you like to see calculated for you? Please don’t hesitate to let us know - sales@soilscout.com.
