Soil Scout ready for a busy BTME Show

The Soil Scout team are once again looking forward to meeting friends old and new at BTME, BIGGA’s turf exhibition at the Harrogate Convention Centre between 23-25 January.

Soil Scout’s founder and Chief Science Officer, Johannes Tiusanen and European Sales lead Tommi Tienhaara will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have about the leading underground wireless real-time soil sensors. Both Johannes and Tommi can be found on the stand of our England, Scotland and Wales distribution partner Bernhard and Company, located in Hall 5, stand number 534.

The Bernhard and Company team will be inviting visitors to watch regular demonstrations of their SubAir Systems unit which simulates how subsurface aeration technology removes moisture from the playing surface. The demonstration unit also contains buried Soil Scout sensors allowing visitors a glimpse into how the sensors send moisture, temperature and salinity data packages in real-time.

Soil Scout CEO, Jalmari Talola said; “We are delighted to be supporting our distribution partner Bernhard and Company at BTME following a very successful collaboration at September’s inaugural GroundsFest event.

“BTME is one of the premier turf management exhibitions in Europe with a fantastic mix of exhibitors, conferences, education and networking opportunities.

“We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at what is sure to be another successful and busy event. Please call by the Bernhard and Company stand and ask the team for a live demonstration. It’s a fantastic opportunity to watch in real-time how the Soil Scout solution works.”

Managing Director for Bernhard and Company, Steven Nixon added; “BTME is a great opportunity for us to get in front of customers, prospective customers, and industry friends – it’s really valuable time for us.”

BTME is the start of a busy show-season for Soil Scout with colleagues also preparing for two of the biggest golf and sports turf industry events in the United States. Soil Scout will have representatives at the SFMA Conference and Exhibition (Jan 22-25) at Daytona Beach and the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show (Jan 29 - Feb 1) in Phoenix, Arizona.
